Hospital staff members are often transmitters of diseases like MRSA. The biggest cause is lacking hygiene of the hands. The Crosswear mbrace reminds people to desinfect their hands every time they leave a zone of risk - zones where they could get infected. When this happens, the wearer becomes a potential risk for the other patients and his mbrace becomes red. This way the wearer is stimulated to desinfect as soon as possible. When the RFID technology detects you desinfecting your hands, the green light reappears.

 

Together with the people of Studio Dott we analyzed every touchpoint we have with our customer, the hospital staff. This storyboard helps us to create a complete product service system. The video below show a day in the life of Lolo the nurse, one of our persona's.
