Hi! My name is Herman Vaneeckhout, I‘m a 25 year old student. I live in Bruges, where my home is, and in Antwerp where my University is.

 

I'm currently studying 'Product Development' at Antwerp University. Before going to Antwerp, I studied Industrial Product Design at Howest, Kortrijk. I graduated with specialization in ‘Product Use’. This course of choice focuses on the functuality of the product in relation to the user  (think: ergonomics, functional design, innovating, inventing for needs, user interaction, form follows function).

 

Because of my huge interest in strategic design and user related research I decided to go for the Bachelor + Master Degree in Product Development, adding another three year to my education (2018). My goal is to graduate with specialization in 'Strategic Design'. Strategic design lets great management and great design come together, bringing the right products/services at the right time in the right context.

 

Creating innovative, attractive, functional & good engineered products is what I'm most passionate about. I also like to sketch, play football, be around my friends and family, and follow everything what goes around in the world.
